The organization transformation in Garuda Indonesia focuses on delivering the Garuda Indonesia experience that could satisfy passengers. The Garuda Indonesia’s concept which is not only focusing on the 5 senses (sight, sound, scent, taste and touch), is also based on a number of basic values, which are on-time and safe (for product), prompt and precise (for process), clean and comfortable (for premises) and reliable, professional, competent and helpful (for staff).

The “Leading Change” program was designed for the leaders of Senior Managers, General Managers and Vice President to lead changes that have to be done strategically related to the realization of Garuda Indonesia Experience. This program was executed for 10 batches in 2010 – 2011.

The successor key for this program is the understanding of concrete changes that can be done altogether with the team, which is by moving them to do practical initiatives with significant impacts. Several practical leadership initiatives were initiated during the workshop and implemented concretely after the workshops.

LEADING CHANGE is not only about instructing what has to be DONE, but it is about building the SAME UNDERSTANDING ABOUT WHY THIS HAS TO BE DONE and then MOVING TOGETHER to create change.
